How to Choose the Right Room Size During Your Hotel Stay

Last updated 3 years ago

Hotel accommodations can vary from basic rooms fit for a one-night visit to elaborate villas ideal for extended getaways. Determining just the right room for your needs depends on a number of factors, and at Turf Valley we have lodging to suit practically any type of stay. Below are some guidelines to help you choose a room that will make for the perfect stay with us.

  • Consider the number of guests:
For single guests and couples, a traditional guest room offers plenty of space with one queen or two double beds. However, if you’re in search of a more luxurious space, a suite is the way to go! There are several suite floor plans to choose from, some perfect for families and others ideal for couples looking to relax away from home. Suites can hold up to 8 guests, so large bookings are welcome.
  • Plan how much time you will spend in the room:
If you’re planning daily activities throughout your trip, you may want to book a smaller room since it will be primarily for sleeping and getting ready in the morning. For the full resort experience complete with visits to the spa, a suite is recommended.
  • Think about the length of your stay:
When your trip is going to last for several weeks, you can find a home away from home in the villas, which offer two or three bedrooms, optional housekeeping and laundry services, full kitchens, private entrances, and plenty of storage. These spaces are an excellent choice for couples traveling together or traveling executives needing long-term lodging.
