About Turf Valley
Turf Valley, originally a thoroughbred horse farm, was purchased in 1978 by the The Mangione family. Thanks to the Mangiones, Turf Valley transitioned from a quaint country club to the area's foremost catering and event establishment. In 1988, the family's dream of building a luxury hotel amid the lush golf courses came to fruition.
Today, sprawling over 1,000 acres, Turf Valley is multi-faceted vacation resort, featuring two championship 18 hole golf courses, two swimming pools, three tennis courts, a luxurious spa and more than 40,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space. The resort is situated in the rolling hills of central Maryland, between the busy metro Baltimore-Washington DC corridors. To date, Turf Valley has grown to become a premier destination for both corporate meetings and leisure retreats.
Here you'll enjoy a comfortable, casual setting whether on the greens, at the spa, in one of our tastefully appointed guest rooms or in our meeting and function areas. Visit our website to learn more about Turf Valley or call us at 433-364-9022 today.

I recently stated at your hotel for a conference. Most of the dining came from your kitchen in either buffet or pre-ordered form. I have some food allergies so eating at events like these is usually somewhat difficult. Your staff did an incredible job of working with my restrictions with the little signs next to buffet items and individual attention to pre-ordered meals.

I have watched Turf Valley grow from a country club with three golf courses to a respectable conference center with hotel rooms and restaurant.
To my family Turf Valley is a community. We had to say good bye to our community earlier this year after deciding to move down south. I have been a member for many, many years. My experience has been playing golf, living on the property, dining, and attending weddings.
No one does it better when it comes to weddings and golf than Turf Valley.
PGA Spinnato leads a crew of true gentlemen who made us feel like members of a world class county club.
Mike Powell, hardest working gentlemen at Turf Valley, made us feel welcome with our own oasis at Member's Grill. He hosted us multiple times in his restaurant, Alexandra's, which lately has become the neighborhood gem (best Thanksgiving Brunch in the area)
Serol Gurun, a true class act, has raised the standards of service in the hotel and made us call Turf Valley home during our transition living in the extended-stay apartments. My wife and I got to meet all our neighbors which became friends.
Signore Pete continues to represent what his father, Mr Mangione, has started a long time ago. His relationship with the members - including playing in our outings, will always be remembered.
I am not a tech savvy individual (my regular readings include the AARP magazine and TV Guide). But, I thought this would be a nice way to pay back my respect and gratitude.

We recently did an overnight package through Living Social and stayed at the Turf Valley Resort. Regardless of having the package (which people told me we would get lousy service), it was actually wonderful! Even though we got there a bit late, part of our package included a bottle of wine in our room. They offered to have it served to us at dinner. I got to pick the wine, which was wonderful, and then enjoyed an amazing dinner to boot. Our room was a King Suite over looking the golf course, and the staff was splendid. We woke early to enjoy spa treatments, and then off to Historical Ellicott City for a light lunch and some shopping. I would highly recommend it. My daughter is considering going back with her friends for the girlfriends pajama party overnight, or something like that.. They have wonderful packages for all party types.. For me, its close, and there is so much around. Plus, it has beautiful surrounds. They are very accommodating. Definitely not the Ritz, but a great a nice low key, great staff, well appointed rooms where you doing need a thing. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
