About Turf Valley
Turf Valley, originally a thoroughbred horse farm, was purchased in 1978 by the The Mangione family. Thanks to the Mangiones, Turf Valley transitioned from a quaint country club to the area's foremost catering and event establishment. In 1988, the family's dream of building a luxury hotel amid the lush golf courses came to fruition.
Today, sprawling over 1,000 acres, Turf Valley is multi-faceted vacation resort, featuring two championship 18 hole golf courses, two swimming pools, three tennis courts, a luxurious spa and more than 40,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space. The resort is situated in the rolling hills of central Maryland, between the busy metro Baltimore-Washington DC corridors. To date, Turf Valley has grown to become a premier destination for both corporate meetings and leisure retreats.
Here you'll enjoy a comfortable, casual setting whether on the greens, at the spa, in one of our tastefully appointed guest rooms or in our meeting and function areas. Visit our website to learn more about Turf Valley or call us at 433-364-9022 today.

"We couldn't have asked for anything more."

We recently did an overnight package through Living Social and stayed at the Turf Valley Resort. Regardless of having the package (which people told me we would get lousy service), it was actually wonderful! Even though we got there a bit late, part of our package included a bottle of wine in our room. They offered to have it served to us at dinner. I got to pick the wine, which was wonderful, and then enjoyed an amazing dinner to boot. Our room was a King Suite over looking the golf course, and the staff was splendid. We woke early to enjoy spa treatments, and then off to Historical Ellicott City for a light lunch and some shopping. I would highly recommend it. My daughter is considering going back with her friends for the girlfriends pajama party overnight, or something like that.. They have wonderful packages for all party types.. For me, its close, and there is so much around. Plus, it has beautiful surrounds. They are very accommodating. Definitely not the Ritz, but a great a nice low key, great staff, well appointed rooms where you doing need a thing. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
"Stayed at Turf Valley on Saturday night for Valentines Weekend...All in all a good outing!"

Stayed at Turf Valley on Saturday night for Valentines Weekend 2013. Rooms are a little outdated but clean and comfortable. The grounds are very nice and very resort like. The food at Alexandras was well prepared, pretty to look at and delicious to eat. Thumbs up! Got a good deal because of a Home show going on so we got the room, $80 dinner credit, tickets to the home show which included drink tickets and an autographed book from one of the vendors. All in all a good outing.

I had my wedding at Turf Valley on 12-29-12. It was amazing! The food was nice and hot and everything was served promptly. The people catered to every need and was on point the entire time. They did not complain and everyone was so polite even though I had hype guest. The drinks were nice and strong. I highly recommended Turf Valley because they will make sure they try their best to cater to your wants. I could not of had my wedding at another place. The food was delicious and you get more for your money compared to other places. Everyone did a wonderful job especially Latisha.
